Why owners choose four weeks
- 01More time for the dog to practice each skill before adding distractions.
- 02Room for outings to stores, trails and busier streets.
- 03A solid base of on-leash obedience: sit, down, place, heel and name response.
- 04Space for more than one handoff lesson, so you are not learning everything at once.
- 05A cushion if your dog needs a slower start or has a few setbacks.

Why owners choose this
One trainer. Your dog. A plan that fits.
We do not refer owners to franchise training chains. In our view, they lean on less experienced staff and indoor facilities instead of real-world training.
Good questions
Before we begin.
Who is a four week program for?
Adult dogs with long-standing habits, strong-willed dogs, and owners who want solid on-leash obedience. The trainer can recommend a length after hearing about your dog.
Do four weeks include off-leash work?
Four weeks centers on on-leash obedience. Reliable off-leash work and behavior modification usually call for a longer stay, such as six or eight weeks.
Will my dog miss us?
Dogs adjust differently. Trainers usually keep a steady routine, and many dogs settle in within days.
Do I get coaching before pickup?
Yes. A good program includes at least one handoff lesson where you practice with your dog under the trainer’s guidance.
What happens after week four?
You use the plan the trainer gives you, and many trainers offer follow-up lessons if you need a tune-up. Ask what is included.
