What changes an obedience program
- The skill list you want, from basic manners to reliable recall in busy places.
- Your dog's age, energy and how long the habits have been in place.
- Whether the trainer plans real-world outings such as stores, trails or parks.
- Program length, since more skills usually mean more weeks.
- The number of handoff and follow-up lessons that come with the stay.

Why owners choose this
One trainer. Your dog. Real results.
We do not refer owners to franchise training chains. In our view, they lean on less experienced staff and indoor facilities instead of real-world training.
Good questions
Before we begin.
What will my dog know when the stay ends?
That depends on the plan you and the trainer agree on. Typical goals include sit, down, place, loose leash walking and recall, but results vary by dog and are not guaranteed.
Is my dog trained for good after a stay?
Training fades if it is not practiced. The handoff lesson teaches you how to keep using the cues so your dog stays reliable.
Is a strong-willed dog a good fit?
Often yes, because daily repetition with one calm, consistent person helps a stubborn dog. Tell the trainer about any bites, guarding or fear so the right plan is chosen.
Does my dog work off leash?
Some programs include off-leash goals once the basics are solid, and some do not. Ask what the trainer recommends for your dog and your surroundings.
How is this different from a class?
There are no group classes here. Your dog works one on one with a single trainer, and you are coached directly on how to keep it going.
